Our Strategy
A Group of Crows, LLC brings together a diverse and experienced team to provide Executive Planning, Development, Entitlement and Construction Management services founded on first-hand expansive real estate, development and construction experience throughout the United States, Canada and the UAE.
Shannon is the Founder and Managing Partner of AGOC as well as its Chief Development Officer. Mr. Crowell has more than 30 years of real estate development, infrastructure, planning, design and construction execution experience. As the head of the development team, Mr. Crowell maintains overall responsibility for corporate strategy, project execution and investor relations. Mr. Crowell is also instrumental in sourcing new opportunities while leveraging and maintaining long-established relationships with national and regional investors, JV Partners, and government entities.
Prior to starting A Group of Crows, Mr. Crowell served as 1st Vice President of Development at CIM Group. During his tenure at CIM, Mr. Crowell was the development lead for a variety of large and complex real estate development initiatives along the East Coast of the United States including the 50-acre, $5 billion Centennial Yards development in Atlanta, Georgia and the multi-billion-dollar mixed-use Miami World Center development where Mr. Crowell served as financial and strategic oversight on behalf of CIM.
Mr. Crowell has also led development throughout the US, Canada and the Middle East for organizations such as Cansult Maunsell in Abu Dhabi, Minto Group from Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Ottawa, led Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project Development Services for the state of Florida, and served as a senior executive with Hines in Washington DC. Executing City Center DC. Mr. Crowell’s background includes leadership and expertise in several asset classes including major mixed-use development, residential, hospitality, Stadium/Arena and Performing Arts Center development.
Shannon earned a Professional Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, obtained his Master of Urban Planning from the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and is a state Certified General Contractor for the state of Florida.
